Q: I'v e heard some websites sell products that aren't covered by manufacturers warranty. How do I make sure the manufacturer's warranty is valid?
A: Look for an authorized dealer. Ray Beauty is an authorized dealer for HAI, Conair and other manufacturers. This means your manufacturer's warranty will always be valid if you show with us.

Q: What kind of store is Ray Beauty Supply?
A: As our name indicates, we are a professional beauty supply store. We sell all types of hair products and equipment for the stylist, salon, barbershop, and individual shopper. We specialize in hair color products, shampoos, conditioners, curling irons, blades, clippers, chairs, mirrors, and much more. We also rent some types of equipment to movie theaters and media.

Q: Who can buy from your store?
A: While many professionals shop at Ray Beauty Supply we welcome everybody. Consumers can purchase the same professional equipment and supplies salons use.

Q: Do you offer any discounts?
A: We offer discounts on large quantity orders if the orders are prepaid by check or money order. (Checks will need to be cleared before we ship your goods.)

Q: How can I place an order?
A: Call us toll free at 1-800-253-0993 or if you're in New York dial 212-757-0175 during our business. You can fax your order to 212-459-8918 anytime day or night, we'll call to confirm. Or stop by our store.

Q: When are you open?
A: We are open six days a week. Our hours are 9:30am-6pm EST Monday through Friday and 10:30am-5pm EST on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays.

Q: Where are you located?
A: We're in midtown Manhattan at 721 8th Ave., between 45th and 46th streets, just a few blocks from the Port Authority Bus Terminal.

Q: How can I pay for my order?
A: Paying by credit card is the easiest method, and we accept most major credits cards. We also accept checks or money orders on mail orders.

Q: Can I return an item if it doesn't work properly?
A: All electric items that have been sold damaged or are not working may be returned to us within 7 days and exchanged for a new one.

Q: What if I'm unhappy or dissatisfied with a product? Can I return it and get my money back?
A: All personal hair products such as brushes or shampoos and electronics that have been opened or used cannot be returned or refunded.

Q: What if a product hasn't been opened? Can I return it?
A: Yes, but only for an exchange on that item and only if we've ensured that it's been returned in a saleable condition.

Q: Do any items come with warranties?
A: All electric products come with a warranty of 1 year or more.
